How to Speak Series didn't come out of a classroom. It came out of roughly two decades inside systems where speaking clearly carried a cost — and out of working out, the hard way, what actually holds when a conversation turns.
The Build
Two decades, four industries, one recurring failure
The framework was built across about twenty years navigating institutional communication failure — in healthcare, security, hospitality, and technology. Different rooms, different stakes, the same recurring breakdown: people punished not for being wrong, but for being clear at the wrong moment, in the wrong structure, without anywhere to stand.
Shield Wall is the answer that took shape across those rooms — not motivational, but procedural. It assumes the room can be hostile and gives you a method anyway.
